At Udai Bilas Palace, a heritage hotel near Udaipur in Rajasthan boasts a very nice vintage car museum and the auto buffs will really like it. 

Built by Maharawal Bijai Singhji between 1910 to 1914. It was initially used to be a stable but in the 1930 to 35 period, it was converted into a huge garage that can accommodate about 40 cars. 

Their collection includes – the double carriage cannons which are quite rare, an old steam road-roller of 1910 from Marshall and Sons – UK. A very rare Austrian car – the Steyr Daimler 220 – 1936.

They have a 47- packard, 51- chevy pick-up, 1942 Willys Jeep, 1939 fiat 7 seater saloon, Sl 380 1885 and Sl-320 of 1994, Jaguar XJS 1985, a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle, couple of BMW motorcycles during the first world war.

The Kochi-Muziris Biennale is an international exhibition of contemporary art hosted in the city of Kochi, India. The Biennale draws on the rich tradition of public action in Kerala to become a platform for cultural and artistic engagement.

It is also engaged in the conservation of heritage properties and monuments and the upliftment of traditional forms of art and culture.

Kochi Biennale is a 108 days event, generally held in the second week of December every year.

A different museum

Formerly knows as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Dr. Bhau Daji Lad City Museum is the oldest one in Mumbai which was originally established in 1855 as a treasure house of the decorative and industrial arts. This museum is a gem for those who are interested in design, history, weaponry, pottery and photography. 

It is a beautiful Renaissance revival style building which was renovated in 2008 and contains more than 3500 objects centring on Mumbai’s history.
